First Energy company to declare its Energy Compact Goals as part of UN High-level Dialogue on Energy (HLDE), NTPC has been spearheading India’s Renewable Energy ecosystem by strengthening its RE footprint, expanding to new areas like Green Hydrogen, Waste to Energy, Battery Storage and Nuclear Energy, with an aim to have 50% non-fossil based capacity by 2032. more than 3 GW of renewable energy under operation and 12 GW under implementation, the company aims to have 60 GW of RE capacity under its belt by 2032. It has teamed with NITI Aayog for the Net Energy Zero effort.
